Renee Oliver continues to honor the legacy of her aunt, the late Lt. Gov. Sheila Y. Oliver, the first woman of color elected to statewide office in New Jersey, through the annual Sheila Y. Oliver Legacy Brunch benefiting the Sheila Y. Oliver Foundation.
Held between Oliver’s July 14 birthday and the anniversary of her passing on Aug. 1, 2023, the event celebrates her enduring commitment to public service while raising funds to empower underserved communities and cultivate the next generation of leaders through civic engagement, public policy, leadership development and community advocacy.
