In celebration of Social Work Month, Columbia School of Social Work (CSSW) and the Sheila Y. Oliver Foundation are pleased to announce an all CSSW alumni panel discussing the synergy of social work and politics. The discussed will be moderated by Charles Lewis Jr., PhD and the panelists will be:
Emily B. Jabbour, Mayor of Hoboken
Mathylde Frontus, PhD, Former NYS Assembly Member
Ashanti Jones, PhD, Policy Analyst, Criminal Justice Reform Program, NJ Institute for Social Justice
This event will take place Thursday, March 12 , and is open to all, especially alumni, current students, and prospective students who are interested in the world of policy making and politics and how a social work degree can aid their careers.
